Situated in a pleasant part of Hampstead, Lakefield has offered training in Cookery, Food & Drink Service and Housekeeping for 40 years. Our exceptional formula for preparing motivated and highly skilled individuals has allowed our trainees to immediately enter full time employment once qualified.

Lakefield is part of the Netherhall Educational Association and it provides Hospitality Services for the 120 bed Netherhall Hall of Residence for Students. The Netherhall complex also hosts numerous large scale functions throughout the academic year.

Our most popular Course is The Lakefield Diploma: A 2 year, full-time programme which enjoys wide support from leading members of the Hospitality Industry. This uniquely delivered programme, comprising 3 level 2 NVQs in Cookery, Food & Drink Service and Housekeeping, provides the high level multi-skilling that the Hospitality Industry requires.

Lakefield is located in the corner of Nutley Terrace and Maresfield Gardens, off the Finchley Road,  in Hampstead (NW3), North West London.

We focus on the person as a whole, developing not only professional but also personal and social skills, which are much requested by the leading members of the Hospitality Industry.

At Lakefield, our trainees have the opportunity to develop their full potential. Each trainee has a personal tutor who helps her set and reach her goals in the areas of personal and professional development and who is available throughout her training at Lakefield.

Activities of a spiritual nature are entrusted to Opus Dei, a Personal Prelature of the Catholic Church.
